[0:02] [Music] the adult dages are poor the kids are asleep welcome to New dad gaming a show about fatherhood gaming and new fathers

[0:14] figuring out their gaming lives my name is Trevor and I have a one and a halfy old my name is Gavin and I too have a one and a halfy old boom and I’m Jeff I

[0:25] do not have a one and a half year old three and a half and six year old which point you dropped to halves is it like four and a half five I know five

[0:34] and a half feels weird maybe it’s four and a half he’s on the cusp though you know like he’s almost four so to say three I don’t know he’s AG so three and

[0:42] a half sounds you say three and a half and that sounds that helps me with his age but like six and a half you know I don’t think I care no yeah no no five

[0:52] and a half four I I would I would stake my claim at four and a half probably

[1:02] yeah you know I’m 5,620 months old which actually the math probably makes me like a vampire Immortal

[1:12] but man G Gavin you did it you survived year and a half the yep one of the easiest ages to say now how’s that feel uh it’s good it uh it’s a lot less

[1:24] awkward than 16 months um as far as just describing her age uh yeah no she’s good she’s running around doing her thing being a baby um

[1:35] teething a little bit but um nothing that you know cold face cloth or some ice water or something isn’t uh put into rest and uh yeah

[1:47] very uh starting to talk a lot more like not like a lot of words but just a lot of Mama and data um and then like her version of doggy is

[1:58] D It’s like a da da I’m I’m just straight up da but the dog is d da it’s all in that pronunciation yeah

[2:10] it is it is um so yeah see with mine he’s he took mispronounces his name so our dog’s name is Mughal you know after Final Fantasy

[2:22] characters and what he reduced that down to is simply like momu moomo which is adorably close yeah so works works out pretty well

[2:36] yeah and we here yeah that that was one of the greatest moments I think when he passed a year and a half because just knowing I didn’t have to talk about

[2:44] months ever again because that that killed me like 14 months 15 H year and a half I would yeah and I would I’d mess up the math on it

[2:53] sometimes because honestly like my brain is too dedicated to other concerns like just you know keeping her alive and all those other things it’s like

[3:02] figuring out the it’s like oh wait when was the last okay so she was a year then then move car the one like I just don’t I got to chase her now she’s climbing on

[3:12] the furniture I don’t care she’s old she’s not two so she’s one but not two that kind of reminds me I don’t know

[3:22] if it’s a um is it a universal thing that babies don’t respect gravity or is that just a young boy thing oh no that’s Universal yeah my my baby does gravity

[3:34] she answers to No One um yeah she’ll climb on things she’ll fall uh we’ve got pretty good Furniture in regards to just like we have a like this padded Ottoman

[3:47] and it’s in front of the coach it’s like a bench ottoman um and sometimes she’ll fall between it and the cach and just sort of like Kinko between the two on

[3:58] her way down it’s all just like it’s super padded but it’s just it’s like well sweetie don’t don’t get up there don’t do that yeah um but we’re also

[4:06] like letting her sort of climb a bit too because we want her to understand like how this stuff works and we’d rather her understand gravity when it’s like you

[4:15] know a half a foot drop onto a padded pillow as opposed to understanding gravity when she’s standing on like the kitchen table somehow through miraculous

[4:25] Todd climbing skills um so there’s certain times where it’s like when she gets up onto the Autumn and like you know when she goes

[4:33] to get back down like she knows to kind of go feet first and then let sort of her body slunk down um so she’s getting smart about it uh but there are certain

[4:43] times where like don’t don’t do that why are you doing that that’s just that’s just bad news baby just trust trust call me and Daddy on

[4:53] this must seem to have um he’s connected the dot like when he’s holding my hand like he’s kind of Invincible from a gravity perspective so he’ll be at the

[5:02] top of a stair or climbing some sort of playground and he’ll grab a hand he’s like you got me okay cool

[5:11] exactly just hurl himself with Reckless abandon I’m like that’s not that’s not that’s not the point of this it doesn’t get better I’ll tell you right now it

[5:20] does not get better Trevor I have an easy solution to that problem is just going to take a heartless moment

[5:28] yeah this is for your own good you’ll thank me [Music] later I get it it’s that sense of like

[5:38] when they’re holding your hand they just sort of yeah it’s like a safety harness it’s like like like a roofer would wear like

[5:47] you see if you see roofers if you ever watch them work like you can tell the guys who have the harness on the guys who don’t because the guys with the

[5:53] harness are just zipping back and forth on the roof but the guys without the harness are sort of like like moving it’s like the ones with a harness run

[6:02] across a roof like a squirrel the ones with the harness saer across the roof like a racon like just methodic and slow as if they’re trying to steal your

[6:12] garbage um so like that’s sort of like yeah you see a baby like a toddler not holding you know mama or dad’s hand they’re a little bit more like okay

[6:22] right foot Left Foot Right okay I’m do a bit of running but that’s good and then once they have the hand they’re just like I don’t care whatever if I fall

[6:29] that has got me it’s fun yeah but I could see your kid your kid’s quite adventurous there Trevor so I could see him just being

[6:38] like he seem just as per his normal he just seems to take that one extra step where it’s just like that is unsafe like just wul un like come on what you’re not

[6:51] even trying you’re not even trying to preserve your own life at this point come on no self-preservation technique at all halfway baby your baby’s a

[7:01] viking I wish he was that civilized at least they had culture you know so the um yeah I guess if we didn’t back it up to review the week a bit

[7:14] uh let’s kick into gaming first and then we’ll get to some other topics but yeah Jen like what games were you able to sneak in this

[7:23] week well I’ll go first because it’s quick um I just sort of been puttering away a bit on DSX that’s a that it is um uh as far as other entertainment though

[7:34] um managed to watch trombo which was a very interesting movie to watch especially in current political climates uh the idea of fear and you know

[7:46] subjecting certain groups to fear and all that was interesting but also uh the Santa Clarita diet on Netflix to new series uh Timothy oong Drew

[7:57] Barrymore really really fun uh my wife and I had to suppress our laughter as to not wake up our kid um but yeah it’s a it’s a really fun series it’s kind of a

[8:08] horror comedy uh very fun very gory uh very wrong but all around a lot of fun so I uh I highly recommend that uh DSX it’s

[8:21] going well it’s very DSX there’s certain game design features in it and I’m like oh uh I figured out some of the controller things that was able to ship

[8:30] some stuff around and now the controls are working in a way that I like um but yeah there’s just certain moments too where I’m like oh so regardless of my

[8:39] choices I’m still kind of getting forced into this position or that position um yeah but you know that’s it’s kind of the style of game it is so

[8:49] you know going to stick with it a little bit longer might also pepper it a little bit more Uncharted just to switch it up yeah

[8:59] as for me gaming uh got it back into Mad Max trying to Fig finish that one off um I don’t think I’m close what what about your cabbages I

[9:11] mean oh no no I still go in there I still have to farm every day I still got to go in there I I’ll spend an hour in my farm and then go on Mad Max and shoot

[9:21] people yeah run people down I can just imagine like connecting the two worlds where it’s just like like that’s the home base like that’s how you’re

[9:28] surviving yeah is doing all the farming and then you go out into theand with your car plenty of water on my farm good no so I’ve gotten back into that again

[9:39] the world map is like totally decorated with icons so I don’t know how much I’m GNA hit uh of all those side quests before I hit the main mission but uh

[9:49] we’ll see I’ll I’ll keep at her and and get it going um but I’ve also been helping out my son with um Donkey Kong Country Returns for 3DS

[10:00] it is a hard game oh my God like if you’ve ever played I remember Donkey Kong Country back in the day and it was it had some tough levels and this thing

[10:09] is like killer oh my God they have like a normal mode which is like you get two hits and you’re dead and then a like a safe mode which is I guess you get an

[10:19] extra hit or an extra heart but he can do some levels that are just bananas yes I was going to say it and I wasn’t and I looked at Trevor I’m like

[10:31] I’ll take it oh I actually I have a dad joke from this morning uh I turned to my wife and I was like oh yeah uh the other day I

[10:42] was getting grocery I I picked up a little forai because I thought why not what you do what was your action just like why what I think I actually

[10:54] caused her physical pain like the look on her doubles over yeah I could tell there was like an ache at the back of her

[11:06] skull this Grimace on her face like that was just it’s like right in like the her rib C feel like crying with joy you guys doing so

[11:19] well at some point you guys keep this up and like you’re not gonna be allowed to hang out with me anymore no you’re can’t bring that God where are he

[11:27] coming from Trevor are some Classics yeah so there’s no so easy mode on

[11:36] Donkey Kong Country enta entails you to have one extra hit one extra yeah hit like I don’t get it some of those levels are nonon impossible but the okay so he

[11:49] plays it in 2D mode on his 3DS because it won’t I think you have to be about seven to do the 3D mode for the eyesight um but when he goes to sleep I turn on

[11:57] 3D mode wow that game is awesome like the levels the the um everything’s set in like a three- leveled area so you’re in the foreground Middle Ground then

[12:08] background and the barrels that kind of fire you around in certain levels like actually Propel you in the back and then you’re like on these little 3D planes

[12:16] and you come back in the foreground and um there’s like the mine cart levels that look ridiculous in 3D like really cool but hard man like I’ve had so many

[12:27] death are you enjoying this in front of him like where he’s like sitting on the couch and like okay you can’t see this 3D but man it’s amaz no no I won’t even

[12:35] he doesn’t even know like he’s totally clueless like he’ll call it 3DS but he doesn’t know what well he knows what 3D is because he’s seen a 3D movie but uh

[12:43] he’s never uh experienced that 3DS part so imagine on seventh birthday when you drop that knowledge okay son you come of age you can finally see this he’s like

[12:54] what or I’m about to open it up but like this new health study comes out they’re like H actually eight years old and I’m like never

[13:01] mind close your eyes boy sorry about saw this yeah the big too like the insult injury is the fact that he’s be like wait that little

[13:11] knob yeah exactly what do you mean I could just switch that and then it’s done yeah pretty much or or dad discovers that

[13:20] that he knew the whole time yeah like crossey just yeah he’s like I I turn it off when you’re around because I know I’m not allowed but

[13:30] I wouldn’t doubt it would not doubt it for a minute by the way I can’t see anything could you bring me to the doctor I have

[13:39] no no depth perception right now keep bumping into things that would explain a lot actually in his childhood we’re unraveling the mystery

[13:47] quickly yes oh for um yeah I don’t man the that’s going to be Troublesome like the the best part

[13:57] when he brings you a game hey Dad can you help me with this oh it’s on and you can’t no you have to can you can you can you you beat this level for me sure son

[14:09] like six weeks later likey at least fake it right like I remember ringing my parents stuff that I couldn’t do and like they would they

[14:18] would immediately do it right like they would fix it or solve my problem so you need to be that hero you me that uh Donkey Kong Country hero GE you gotta

[14:27] keep yourself sharp man because yeah what is gaming let down you can’t like can you help me can you beat this level for me dad no yeah I I’ve called a

[14:37] couple levels in front of them oh that’s a cheap shot because you wouldn’t have known that death until you did it kind of thing I hate those can’t stand those

[14:45] so I’ve yelled that out and he’s like ah what does that mean like that’s when the game tricks you into something that you don’t want to do say is that was that

[14:53] really the word you used or no no it was good darker it could get dark really fast fast that’s late at night son of a fudge oh son of a

[15:06] beeswax I I could imagine like your kid um like coming to you kind of being like Oh can you help with this level and then you just can’t get it you hand it back

[15:17] to them and then like then they end up beating it because they just had a moment to pause and think yeah I bet that’s like the video game equivalent of

[15:24] them coming to you with like a pickle jar exactly you can’t let that happen like and then you try to open the pickle jar and then you hand it back to them

[15:32] and then pop you’re like a it’s like I failed I can’t do this failed we I don’t ever mentioned the story about the I had actually solved a game puzzle in a dream

[15:44] and I woke up and went and did it yeah so it was with um I was playing braid at the time some of those some of those ones

[15:52] really got you thinking yeah and like with all the time mechanics like it really just dug into you like you had to think of it on so many levels and I was

[16:02] this one level just could not get it it was a big plain session I’m going against this one and just nothing nothing nothing like all right I’m going

[16:09] to bed forget this and it’s in that moment when you’re drifting off to sleep and you’re just starting to dream it was just that year we that’s it

[16:19] it’s the third platform like I woke up and like R down down stairs and applied it it worked first time it was amazing like how you didn’t even save it for the

[16:28] next day day like woke up in the midst of a fever dream and ran downstairs I need to get to this can’t let it get away Sol it oh was

[16:39] beautiful happened to me for like ideas for things where it’s like I’m about to drift off to sleep and I’m like oh that’s a good idea or it’s like drifting

[16:47] off to sleep and it’s like oh that’s that’s the way I’ll finally figure out how to illustrate that thing but it’s never been like a video game related

[16:56] epiphany yeah that was just it was that one only only that one thing that had happened but I was pretty happy about it I’ll say

[17:05] though like the um napping and creativity for ideas like that is one of my favorites as far as being able to you have that difficult challenge you just

[17:14] can’t solve and then like letting yourself drift off a little bit and just letting your mind kind of do the work just take

[17:21] a big boy nap just big boy nap and then you get up Sol it I find mine as like uh commuting or like taking the dog for a walk like I’ll have some of my big

[17:32] epiphanies uh for that stuff when it’s like I’m literally picking up my dog’s mess and then I’ll be like like Eureka handful hold it up in the

[17:44] air I got it I finally got it it wasn’t Isaac Newton with the Apple it was him picking up the dog crap oh sorry ma’am I didn’t mean to let me just get that for

[17:54] you sorry about that yeah yeah whoops you in your way oh um yeah not a lot of gaming stuff for myself it was uh my self- torment with

[18:06] Street Fighter continued uh finding it pretty Zen now actually with uh just prct just the nap you’re good well it’s it actually works

[18:18] I think like there there’s problems with it if you wanted to as a dad game because of the if if you did online matches because you can’t leave right

[18:26] you can’t quit and that’s obviously hugely problematic with a dad when your kid’s about to you know jump off a balcony but with the practicing and like

[18:35] the tutorials and some of those other levels like it’s just you and the systems here able to kind of just like get into the Rhythm and keep practicing

[18:41] these things I’m finding I’m starting to find it very Zen and very calming in some ways like just kind of con over and over again practicing that one kind of

[18:50] simple move you’re trying to get so we’ll uh we’ll see and otherwise a bit of uh playing a bit through trying to decide how much I care to give into

[19:00] Super Mario run Oh you mean I liked it I thought I’m not saying it’s a bad game I just I don’t

[19:10] know so because well I discover I found out that like if you get all the coins then a new series of harder coins show up in that particular level yes yeah

[19:18] yeah yeah yeah I didn’t realize that so started to get okay quick question while you like the game were you one of the people that liked those levels that were

[19:27] like the constant scroll do you know I mean like in like in Mario 3 or whatever the one level that would just push you to the end because that’s what I feel

[19:34] like that mobile game is it’s like I never like those levels so I don’t like being constantly pushed I like to like stop and bounce almost parkour across

[19:43] the level yeah to do back and forth but it’s that that um that constant movement level uh especially whenever they’re like in the

[19:54] clouds I those just like little Wiggly Donuts that fall down all the donut platforms yeah yeah it’s like I can appreciate the

[20:04] constraint like I can appreciate the mechanic so that you’re always moving I guess what’s obviously frustrating about it is as a collection thing it’s like

[20:12] you have to get all of these yeah like you have that one instant in time where it doesn’t even necessarily feel like skill it’s not like you’re doing this

[20:21] intricate tap method it’s more just you manage to do it at the right time and if you miss it restart you got to go back like there was some cases actually

[20:29] like I killed him so he could float back so I could retry that particular area because I didn’t care to do it again so yeah I don’t know that I’m hugely a fan

[20:40] of it um or more supposed to say I never liked that gameplay in previous games it’s more that I I guess in its how short the levels are and how they’ve

[20:52] presented it I can kind of appreciate it in this form but I I’m kind of losing interest and bothering beat the levels um good work like good

[21:03] first game like hats off I got almost wish there was maybe some more levels but felt about a decent length yeah well put together high quality and so we’ll

[21:13] see so I prefer there’s only so much self- punishment I can do and my Plate’s full I’m already man that’s one of the first things I think when they the son

[21:24] brings or the son or daughter brings you a challenge to beat with a game and for myself it’d be like oh hey can you help me with this haduken and I’m just like

[21:33] oh just like curl up into a ball really having this hard time with this boss and yeah I just like it’s like no no no left left right right up left

[21:44] right Daddy okay no son no he’s not flash so other news there is bubble is no

[21:59] longer the worst television show kids television show I’ve found in my humble opinion so the new one is

[22:10] well had an interesting Rel I have an interesting relationship with this one because it’s almost like this one cracked the code of kid shows for me let

[22:21] me let me bring you along here so man I’m trying to think what is that damn thing even called I think maybe it’s called Chase

[22:29] he’s a race car like this red kind of monster truck oh yeah I know that one that was chasing the monster truck Brigade or something I don’t know yeah I

[22:38] don’t know if there’s a subplot any like it is goddamn terrible okay so one of the promos is um so he you know he’s a talking race car okay and he lives in a

[22:50] race car world that’s kind of interesting or like a Monster Truck World okay but you have a human inside of you but your entire world is monster

[23:00] truck sized so where the hell that human come from and where the hell do that human live Blaze and monster ma Blaze okay

[23:07] yeah yeah Blaze sorry Blaze all right so where where does that human live like what’s up with them are they like the last two survivors of whatever terrible

[23:17] thing you did to the human race because like they can’t live anywhere the whole world is based on cars Skynet took over and it’s NASCAR moner

[23:28] he is John Connor and he is assumed control of Skynet by way taking over yeah okay so but let’s let’s suspend belief for a

[23:40] second like okay this somehow Works he the kid jumps down a tunnel and he comes into car World whatever um one of the promos is hey let’s go over to this

[23:50] place and they hop onto a boat and now they’re sailing a boat yeah it’s like what do you your cars what why are you sailing like I mean like

[24:00] literally it’s a huge boat and they’re like pulling ropes to like it’s like what do you your your cars like what do you no because you’re Manning a vehicle

[24:08] you’re a vehicle you can’t his car can magically change into new things if the audience says stuff at the screen that’s that’s cool I’m cool with that I’m

[24:18] talking like literally Bubble Guppies though Bubble Guppies had all that too they’re like bubble cows and but it’s the it’s it’s

[24:26] the same prom I have though where it’s just like they don’t have they’re not working within the conceits of what this world is it’s like yeah then these four

[24:34] cars jump onto a boat and now they’re sailing I’m like what are you talking what why are they sailing they’re cars have you ever seen truck

[24:42] town uh I don’t want to I don’t want to think about it maybe that’s a contender for wor show but bear with me for a while okay so fine so now you have these

[24:51] two goddamn a stream of you just just raising your fist at these kid shows like what do you mean I’m probably going

[25:00] to like I should stream just screaming at the TV so for some reason these two goddamn cars are sailing a boat for some stupid reason their human friends are

[25:09] helping um and that’s bad enough but except that one of the cars is also a cat yeah and it’s okay so like so this

[25:19] isn’t fart you haven’t like just thrown stuff out the window enough you’re also just going to make these sometimes monster trucks are also animals so so

[25:28] one’s a dinosaur for so no goddamn reason you can’t have that live with everybody one’s a cat and he like literally has claws and it’s like so

[25:37] you’re a car except you’re a cat that lives in a world that has humans and you’re gonna sail a boat it’s like what are you what is this like does it does

[25:47] it purr though when it like res probably how far are we talking here now okay so that’s so there there’s my descent in the madness right but at the

[25:58] bit of this madness I started to think about you know um one thing is certainly like my uh my son’s really starting to grab toys

[26:07] and just kind of play with himself and like starting to like slam cars into each other and he pulls over a plane and he puts the car into the plane you know

[26:15] he’s just he’s going for it and that’s and I’ve seen kids before that’s how they do it so that’s if anything that’s what this is like this

[26:22] is I’m trying to work within logical adult constraints yeah I know for synopsis and this is like I’m trying if you think about like

[26:32] a a five or six and I imagine even your boy’s Jeff where it’s just like Okay okay then now this truck and now he’s jumping on this plane okay now the plane

[26:40] and the truck is flying over here and okay now this cat comes on okay now the cat’s going you know what I mean like it’s just that like rapid like sure

[26:46] whatever everything in the kitchen sink TV shows for kids by kids oh there you go yeah yeah it must it feels like it man because it’s just it’s everything

[26:57] every it’s it’s a a dinosaur that’s a truck that it’s basically ax cop but without the cool stuff yeah but even like at least ax cop

[27:10] feels like honest in its like portrayal of nonsense this like it’s almost like yeah we’re like a real-time car thing come

[27:17] with us and our buddies and drive around except here’s a dinosaur we’re GNA that’s what happens when like something is designed by way of focus groups yeah

[27:26] it’s like we know boys like this and they like this and they like this so it’s like how do we put it together I don’t know duct tape and hope but just

[27:34] do it oh yeah there there was a baker like there’s there one of the cars is baking a cake and it’s just like for what like you got two humans in your

[27:43] whole stupid world and the rest of you don’t eat and this isn’t just like a one this is a bakery what are you what’s your existence like what are you doing

[27:51] what are you do on T I always automated just going about their way even though all the humans are dead I think it’s a ripoff of um I

[28:02] always thought it was a ripoff of Chuck the Truck if you’ve ever seen that one I don’t know if blaz came after but truck the truck is they’re all trucks right

[28:10] there’s no humans they’re trucks and they do truck stuff truck town is the same yeah so maybe they had to do that for copyright they just cat there’s a

[28:21] new one with like this kid uh Rusty rivets where it’s like Rusty rivets that sounds like a disease yeah should be um they they wind up with

[28:32] like a problem to solve in the episode except it’s like the kids are like Builders and like Engineers um kind of I guess but their children um and they

[28:41] live in a junkyard which is just waiting to happen yeah it’s basically encouraging kids to play with garbage that’s what it

[28:49] is preparing them for the dystopian future perfect exactly um so this kid they’ll come across a problem it’s like oh this kid is trapped on top of a stack

[29:00] of tires how do we get him down well let’s drive our crane over and use a crane to get him down oh no the crane won’t fit through this passageway you

[29:10] could move the junk or you could spend an entire day while this one child is vicariously about to fall and die building a robot dinosaur that could

[29:19] jump over the garbage and like they give him a paint job and there’s like other ones too where it’s just like just like walk

[29:28] around the thing it’s like no no no no we have to build Machinery right and like these giant things with like fancy paint jobs and

[29:37] stuff and it’s like and it’s it’s weird too because it’s always there’s like a timer kind of thing it’s like oh we’re gonna lose the race it’s like so you’re

[29:45] gonna build the car for the race now like every is already at the Finish Line like there’s no sort of sense of like prioritization or urgency it’s just like

[29:54] we build stuff I don’t know is that one uh Ranger Rob has always gotten to me right now though the one that we do like is uh hey

[30:06] douge um because our daughter loves that one she actually like hyperventilates when it comes on she like runs to the TV and she’s

[30:15] like just like like oh it’s on it’s on and then like the little diddy for like the opening number kicks in she just starts dancing like crazy like looking

[30:24] over her shoulder and smiling at us like are you guys seeing this this is the best and uh we know it’s like as soon as that

[30:31] comes on and what’s best too is it comes on 15 minutes before dinner so like right at that point where it’s like you really have to focus on getting dinner

[30:37] ready it’s like her favorite show comes on they like okay great we know where she’s it’s not going anywhere it’s one of the only shows I’ve ever really seen

[30:46] her get like super engaged with and it’s like well animated it’s really pretty it’s really fun it’s like basically like a like a scope troop kind of thing and a

[30:55] dog that looks after them and they give them a hug at the end like seven minutes an episode um but she just loves it she loves it so hard and I’m just like all

[31:04] right have at it baby help me finish your pasta without you hanging on my leg but yeah Blaze and the Monster Machines it’s I’ve seen a few episodes

[31:18] of that just just feels lazy man just like for our Canadian listeners I do really enjoy odds Squad and oh yeah those kids are

[31:30] hilarious and what’s great too is you see like comedians come on um another one that’s really good for like comedian cameos is uh Dino Dan and Dino Dan Tre

[31:41] Adventures uh Dino Dan tre’s Adventures it’s like all like Toronto Comedians and actors and stuff like uh like Sean cin from corking the juice pigs like he

[31:52] shows up as like a like substitute teacher all the time not like the Drama teacher there’s like some Kids in the Hall action uh there’s some like new

[31:59] Canadian comedian Talent peppered in there like it’s it’s got some funny stuff and it’s just this kid if you’re not familiar with Dinan I know I’m

[32:07] getting off on R here but uh Dinan is essentially this boy who sees dinosaurs kind of like the six cense but they’re dinosaurs but nobody

[32:20] else sees the dinosaurs so it’s like part of you kind of wondering like is there something wrong with this little boy like is this an overactive ination

[32:28] or should he get like an MRI like how right you know so TX adventures and it’s it’s great that as adult men we can have this conversation but so trx’s

[32:44] Adventures um have they just replaced Dan because nobody liked him no here’s the kicker um Dino Dan he had a little brother named Trek Dino Dan got two old

[32:58] to act in the show anymore the little brother got old enough to take his place yeah because it is a replacement right like you got boot like Dan got booted

[33:06] right yeah but the replacement was the cast member in the or like in the first Dino Dan oh yeah I remember like Dino Dan’s little brother takes up the torch

[33:18] and apparently the the the conditions hereditary yeah so he takes up the the torch and whatever is causing the visions and moves along like maybe they

[33:29] should take the asbest out of the house or change uh but yeah so yeah Tre is Dan’s little brother so Dino danre Adventures

[33:39] is just his little brother having hallucinations in the schoolyard instead of him like Dan Dan I can I can see them Dan I can see them this backpack is

[33:49] yours now Trek here here’s the other troubling thing that whole like is there something wrong with the kid it’s like where’s Dan

[33:58] like where did Dan goosa got him like here’s a kid who has hallucinations and then he disappears and now his little brother is

[34:08] having hallucinations and it’s very disconcerning like I want to know like me as a viewer I’m kind of concerned like wait nobody talks about Dan why

[34:18] don’t we talk about Dan where’s Dan oh no that’s the story that’s the story I you see because the only reason the only reason he started

[34:26] seeing dinosaurs was a trauma of losing his brother and now it’s just that hunt to find which dinosaur ate his brother and get revenge it’s it’s his coping

[34:36] mechanism for the grief of losing his brother or something I don’t know that’s the adventure oh they did they did have a

[34:43] Ghostbusters Parody episode which was really funny and the best part too is like they just did the music like they didn’t even try to like do like a fake

[34:51] one they just went straight out they’re like we don’t care nobody’s gonna it’s like come us go it’s an obscure kids show on Canadian

[35:01] television like Public Access television so just like whatever so they just did it like wow that’s

[35:09] commendable oh man oh I [Music] watched yeah it’s like the stuff that

[35:17] think it’s gonna be a new spin-off show it’s just like weekly rantings on the plot points of various kid shows yeah this week on TR Adventures

[35:28] but on that high note I think uh we dads will sign off for the evening yeah the next episode of track Avengers is on so I gota get going yeah

[35:38] gota go watch our record I DVR all of it so I gota like watch I gotta find the plot points yeah if if you look hard enough you can find you can see Dan any

[35:46] of our viewers know what the hell happened to Dan please in the comment section let me know nobody talking about
