[0:03] [Applause] the adult beverages are poor the kids are asleep welcome to New dad gaming a show about fatherhood gaming and new

[0:13] fathers figuring out their gaming lives my name is Trevor and I have a two-year-old and another on the way and I’m Jeff I have a seven-year-old and a

[0:22] four-year-old yeah man it uh it feels like it could be any day like it’s week uh 33 close you’re getting close yeah it was week 33 and just the way it feels

[0:32] it’s just like any day technically like just really really starting to hit home like we were folding onesies for the new baby oh yeah yeah and like you’re

[0:44] holding these things up you’re just like like God are they ever so small looking at my current monster and I was like well there’s

[0:53] no this thing was never small there’s it’s funny when you hold up the clothes that you ever used too like you’re like H we had this so many

[1:05] like it’s just like I don’t know why we’d never heard it’s it’s certainly fun to buy and I think it’s kind of like this nice

[1:13] connecting experience and possibly especially for moms but just that purchasing new clothes especially for the new baby yeah yeah it’s it’s a charm

[1:22] it’s a it’s a fun Suite moment but for myself it’s like we have so much clothing like it’s just there’s there’s stuff that the first son

[1:32] we we could probably put the new son through what the first the second son put the second son only in things that

[1:41] the first son never never wore yeah and he would be fine yeah no problem you have all the same pictures and all the same clothes just a different

[1:50] person that’s what I’m saying it could not even be repeats first I never even touched any of this because we never got a chance and it’s not from I don’t if

[1:58] you got the same experience but even with toys too but like the second it’s it’s like this curse parents pass on to one another it’s like oh you’re having a

[2:06] baby yeah yeah here’s here’s the junk here’s all the crates full of stuff and yeah oh it’s just bags of clothes and like boxes of toys and it’s just that

[2:17] this is we haven’t bought we’ve bought so little and we see I mean it’s it’s hard to complain like that’s such at the same time that’s such a blessing like

[2:26] that’s so wonderful to be in that scenario of course yeah yeah it’s a lot yeah airplanes are like wings missing like it’s like oh the batteries

[2:37] don’t work on that they like they Weld and shut don’t worry but I hear you right like I think the only time we really bought were for birthdays and

[2:44] Christmas I think everything else was just like we had a great full of toys given to us like see if you’re strategic what you do is you put aside some of the

[2:55] toys he’s never going to use and that’s Christmas yeah you this why is it got like grape hanging

[3:04] off it and all these muddy fingers this action figure is missing a leg no no that’s just it’s inclusive it’s one leg Joe DLC you gotta buy the other leg it

[3:15] would be DC oh it’s not even half off like with Skylander those new the new nonsense with like combining tops and bottoms oh

[3:25] yeah that’s ridiculous legs sold separately literally legs sold separately yeah yeah it wasn’t bad enough it’s like you have to buy 50 of

[3:34] the toys but it’s now you have to buy to play the video game it’s not you have to buy the legs for 50 toys oh yeah to get different abilities it’s ridiculous is

[3:45] it have you ever played have you ever had your kid go through those games Skylanders yeah yeah we we have it I bought like um it was like an intro pack

[3:54] so it came with like two figurines but it was an older Skylanders cuz there’s like three versions or something and only some of the figures work with some

[4:02] of the games so you got to be careful of that but like yeah that comes with the figures but then you have to buy the crystals that only lock in whatever

[4:10] element that creature is in the game so if you have a water crystal if you defeat a water boss you can capture them if you don’t have a crystal you just

[4:19] that’s it you don’t get to capture them you just continue the game which is like half the fun right because you want new things to play with and it’s really neat

[4:27] how it works it’s just it’s a lot of those little Crystal things to capture things are like 15 bucks a piece and they’re just tiny plastic things that is

[4:37] that is so cool and so expensive oh yeah man I’m even looking like um just on eBay and stuff because it’s an older game if I can get older pieces for cheap

[4:47] they’re not cheap it’s like people think they’re collector items now like no I’m not spending a hundred bucks on that thanks and Lego’s trying it like with

[4:57] their Lego worlds like it’s yeah a lot of them are just kind of going under too like just stopping I know the Disney one stopped the infinity a lot of people

[5:06] bought into that one so it’s like that’s that and that really racks my mind too just around like cool but like what if you don’t

[5:17] support this game anymore like have I bought into done nothingness like just like I have like figurines for like days that I can’t do anything with yeah well

[5:27] and I think some of them with the Trap Team Skylanders Trap Team of what I have some of them work in the newer ones because they built in that backwards

[5:36] compatibility but not the new figurines don’t work with my old game so when my kid goes to the store and sees the new awesome ones because they’ve upgraded

[5:45] the figurines no you can’t do that you got to buy the new game with the new stuff and the new crystals because they made a new element like Dark Crystal or

[5:54] something and now you gotta spend more money so man that’s like oh that’s awful it is really neat I will vouch for it it is a really cool um especially with the

[6:05] PS4 there’s a speaker and the little landing area where you have to put the figurine on and it it kind of yells when you put them on it yells all the way

[6:12] into the game so you can kind of hear it Echo into the game out the TV speakers it’s kind of neat it’s a really cool effect kids love it but it’s

[6:22] money it’s so high yeah it’s just such an awesome idea but like d man how would you yeah it’s like what like a$1 thousand Habit to like get the and to

[6:33] focus in on one right you could do like you said Lego there’s Disney Skylanders there’s something else out there probably I was just trying to think like

[6:42] do the amiibos amiibos do those do those Now work on the switch or is it I don’t think as of yet but I think I bet you they’re

[6:52] building in something like I don’t think they work it’s like V2 so like you well that’s what I mean cuz I know like I’ve seen some

[7:02] impressive collections like some guys like just have the entire shelf space with like a hundred of these things yeah then they get a switch and it’s like oh

[7:11] well no no you see make more shelf space now gotta buy the new stuff s out he how was your week in fatherhood and

[7:23] gaming uh fatherhood was good my now seven-year-old had his birthday party which um was well speaking of Lego we had like a Lego party um at a at the

[7:36] YMCA so they do like a bricks for kids where um a person comes in with a whole bunch of Lego and all the kids have their own little sets um kind of preone

[7:45] with all the pieces they need and then they follow instructions and they built um well it was Pokemon theme so they had a Pokemon thing to

[7:54] build it was a lot of work going to work son not yeah like it was um my son is usually really good at Lego but he’s never really done the

[8:05] Technic one which this one was the Lego Technic and it’s just with the cogs and the gears and they had a battery power pack to run the thing uh and the

[8:16] instructions weren’t Lego instructions they were this company’s instructions so even that was like a little bit off and hard to follow the depth of things of

[8:26] where they fit um I had to go around help and we we saw all the parents kind of help their kid because it’s like well I need to figure this out why doesn’t

[8:35] this work right now so uh like a circle of parents building Lego well eventually we got them all done and all the kids went and like

[8:45] build a mosaic of just regular Lego blocks and they were off doing that and then I’m still sitting there trying to get mine to work because it’s like the

[8:52] advanced version that I had to do so uh I was put to work kids were put to work but they had fun it was uh it was good lots of uh it’s a different kind of

[9:03] energy with seven-year olds um a little bit harder to control because they could talk back now but uh they have thoughts and opinions they have thoughts and

[9:14] agression Crush um it’s a little bit a little bit different than uh my three-year-old when he turned four where you just bring out like a new ball and

[9:22] they’re like a and everybody’s happy this is a little bit different so um but it worked out I was tired the whole family was tired

[9:30] that day but uh it was good um in terms of gaming I’m still on Final Fantasy 15 still got a uh put some hours in that baby still getting those choos yeah and

[9:41] I downloaded uh until dawn which is this month’s ps+ free freebie so that’s kind of like the Choose Your Own Adventure kind of um kind of like a heavy rain

[9:53] idea where you select choices in the game world and then maybe a character dies or doesn’t die so I think I’ve got my wife roped into uh playing it through

[10:03] with me so we’ll see many characters we end up with so they all died I don’t like that person just send them out to the dark room

[10:13] nice see yeah I got I saw that one that it was um probably the PSN free for the month but I didn’t know I had no I thought it was just kind of a basic like

[10:24] it’s another Outlast game or something like that where it was uh no it’s less it’s I think it’s less interactive it’s more just like um almost like heavy rain

[10:32] it’s at least my understanding it’s just dialogue choices that uh could affect all these characters that you have as your team and you send whoever to

[10:42] whatever room and see what happens and it threads from there so CU that yeah because another one was I mean the Game of Thrones Telltale

[10:52] series that think I don’t know if that was like last month or this month but uh I always add them my library never download them yeah exactly too many just

[11:03] the ever amounting like list of Shame of you’ll never touch pretty much look at these wonderful things I’ll never touch yeah 15 is doing well yeah yeah just

[11:16] strangely strangely addicted to it the story is not there like it is definitely living up to those critiques where the story’s a mess um so it’s not strongest

[11:26] in there but somehow just strangely addictive just developing this Brotherhood of the teammates that you stick with so nobody

[11:33] switches out yet that I know of and it’s just they talk to each other in combat and the one takes pictures like that’s his thing and he takes pictures of the

[11:42] day and you have to Camp every day to earn experience and then you see his pictures that he’s taken throughout so it’s just kind of a neat I don’t know

[11:49] you start to get to know them um my son’s starting to watch me play through too um and we got our first summon the big uh Rama the lightning God and seeing

[12:01] him on video where he takes up the full screen is so cool just to see him come out into the world and it’s not a CG cut scene or anything it’s just it’s there

[12:12] so it’s pretty neat that way I’m enjoying it couldn’t be price it’s like 20 bucks so man so daunting God such yeah I well

[12:22] I heard it’s a short one too if you like run through the main quest it’s like yeah but are you like are you going to no I’m going to every side quest I can

[12:31] because I want the best gear to beat the main guy it’s cool your son’s into it though like the um is he like he’s watching you play it and

[12:41] comment like commenting on what you should do or like what is the flow there yeah he um well now he can read and like pretty well like he can um there’s some

[12:51] complicated words in in there and it’s not too like it’s not blood violence it’s it’s Fantasy VI violence so it’s got um you know dragons and chocobos and

[13:01] all the other stuff that kind of comes along with Final Fantasy so he’s he’s there on like what what I should do oh I’ve been poisoned like he can read

[13:09] poison you’ve been poisoned you should use a potion or an antidote like I’ve taught him you know what can you know the basic life skills you know the life

[13:16] skills the street smarts um but he knows what to do there and and when I level up and what um what’s the next skill I should select because that would help me

[13:24] out so he’s he’s there uh he’s present he’s strategizing for me um I think it would be way too tough for him to actually play and interact but he’ll run

[13:33] the Overworld for me and you can drive the car he can do that stuff but yeah it’s kind of cool I don’t know it’s it that’s an advanced game that he can kind

[13:41] of get into and he remembers everything like he’s remembering stuff that some guy said in the next town over that I completely forgot and he said of some

[13:50] mystery cave and he’s like oh dad there’s there’s that cave the man told you about you talking about like that’s perfect so’s you’re game like notebook

[13:59] of like yeah Quest supposed to be doing yeah because you know my age I just forget everything I’m like what I don’t know where I’m supposed to go tell the

[14:07] map to tell me where to go I don’t know it’s a perfect Glimpse in the future so we’re old and seile and like your like no dad you gotta go there to like get

[14:16] the crystal you’re like oh oh why didn’t they tell me that what a foolish game I didn’t know that but yeah it’s been working out so it’s good how about you

[14:28] ni h um let’s see so fatherhood we got the lip stitches out on Monday and the what about as well as expected just like the doctor and myself and my wife like

[14:40] just all desperately holding them down like trying to poor kid they just like her trying to get in with like the scissors and I just

[14:50] like cut them out so oh goding of scissors yeah right so the they they finally came out those are fine the I mean I think

[15:00] it’s it’s hard to tell like I want to have some patience but like it’s definitely not as um I almost wish it was a bit more seamless in the scar that

[15:08] he does have I’ll say it’s like certainly improved from when they first came off I was a little bit worried when they first came out because it was just

[15:13] like oh no looks kind of raw or whatever you’re like ah and even a couple days after it’s still kind of like that’s a bit more pronounced than I was hoping

[15:23] for we need to give you like an ey Scar and a different name and white hair and like yeah we’ll put you into the

[15:31] witcher’s Final Fantasy character he can just join my party shave off half his hair and like glasses I don’t know just like so he um yeah but he’s done the

[15:41] wiser he’s kicking out we started back at a our previous daycare we were kind of like in a temporary daycare um until our spot opened up in this one and it

[15:51] has which has been fantastic we really like this place uh we had previously been at it was kind of nice to see them greet him back like they all seem to

[16:00] like them or at least fake fake it when we’re around hey again hey back yeah so no so I one so he’s back there he’s

[16:12] you know bouncing up he’s great I say one of the it was raining the one day I think it might have been on the week one of the week not this weekend maybe the P

[16:22] previous weekend anyways the uh we’ve gone up to this indoor play place oh yeah and it’s and it’s certainly targeted older kids like they have it’s

[16:31] all ages and they have like kind of sections okay for smaller kids why would your son listen to that no no so the one part is it is like

[16:41] literally four stories of fun house basically yeah like entirely like so roped off like there’s stairs but like even the stairs like

[16:50] padded and a lot of like circles and things are like you know down yep so and then slides and so much of it was like me

[16:59] I kind of assumed I wasn’t allowed to go up foru I totally know where you’re going yeah you made the trip did you I didn’t like for structural Integrity

[17:09] like I thought like I probably should go up I don’t know if it’s built for my size but he all of a sudden he somehow gets to like the third and fourth floor

[17:16] and I’m like oh God and I can’t see him like I’ve lost sight because I’m running around the bottom like just like like adult like trying to

[17:27] look up to the top floor and catch a glimpse of him every now and then I see him like just kind of poke out near one of the meshes like then he runs down oh

[17:35] God where’d you go then the one then one of what was one of the last terrorizing phases is there’s this massive slide it goes from

[17:45] I call it the third floor down right what feels like a 70 degree angle and right up top it states for six to 12 year olds ensure that they’re

[17:57] wearing full pants oh God he was not wearing full pants no and he I finally catch sight of him and he just like cheeky kind of Peaks around the corner

[18:07] on this slide wow and it’s like okay like I don’t yeah and he is going to launch himself down I don’t like do I try do I

[18:18] sit at the bottom and try to mitigate right worst of it do I Sprint up and try to prevent him from going down am I over like just like this whole like it

[18:28] decision tree about like I’m not there’s no good answer here no and we’ve just been to the hospital I can’t if we go again they’re gonna give us like a you

[18:38] know six times free pass or something so yeah he went down the slide sque unfortunately there one of those slides like where if you have your

[18:50] like bare skin against like sque oh yeah which seem like tell where he is he survived just fine but I think that was like fortunately kind of

[19:02] towards the end of trp I’m like and that’s done and we’re out of here so yeah that’s so funny that you’d had to do that because I I remember those days

[19:11] where I had to climb up and you see the stickers of like here’s the four to six level and then here’s the six to 12 level and I’m like H my weight up here

[19:19] I’m not sure but then you see other parents running after their kids because they’re doing the same thing they’re going to the Aged thing that they’re not

[19:26] allowed on and you can see like there’s empty spaces where you could like fall down to the next level like you’re supposed to step down yeah you got you

[19:34] have to have some faith in their capabilities but it’s even like kids and like when they made built it yeah yeah you’re just picturing like tumbling down

[19:42] one of the stairs or like Miss and you’re not if you’re not like immediately on it where’s it gonna go so yeah that was it’s it

[19:52] paid nerve-wracking experience like I’d like to imagine after they’re six that this turns into a much different scenario but like I don’t know what

[20:03] six-year-old wants to go do this well yeah that’s yeah kind of where I’m at one does want to go there and the other one doesn’t like it’s like a play place

[20:11] like a McDonald’s play place they’ll go to but they won’t go like indoor playground they’ll have fun but I don’t know he’s kind of grown it that’s a

[20:21] thing right so like by the time they’re actually old enough to go on that big slide they don’t want to go go it yeah yeah then you go on it and you look like

[20:27] a freak like okay then do I slide with him like what I’ve got pants hopefully I got pants actually I didn’t it was

[20:39] shorts know I would have lost skin rug all the way down the plastic so I think to um so it’s interesting to hear about the your final

[20:50] fantasy experience because the remaster of Final Fantasy X’s come out for uh PS4 four yeah and it’s been interesting to see reviews of it uh Final Fantasy 12

[21:02] for myself was one like one of my favorite ones like that uh definitely up there with nine and 10 and of course seven um but it uh the system was so

[21:13] incred like love that system like I always want to find another game that has that system um but the visuals have been like completely remastered and

[21:21] people and the score the music as well yeah and in addition apparently they’ve made some a bunch of improvements to it as well without really touching core

[21:29] gameplay so it’s getting all these Ray reviews so there becomes that enticement where it’s just like well putting aside there’s no chance I have time to play

[21:40] it the uh oh yeah I shouldn’t mention the only thing I played I had like a 30 minute session of Faro which is still a fantastic SP spider’s jumping at you

[21:51] like in 3D just you’re so Shak in your head like it’s it’s awesome but uh yeah so putting aside the

[22:00] fact I’d never be able to play it time the impulse to buy that from a Nostalgia standpoint so it’s not only the game that you

[22:08] remember it’s the improved version It’s better yeah so do you Reby the game you’ve already purchased see yeah I guess it would

[22:20] caseby casee basis um I never finish Final Fantasy 12 because I found it slow in the middle I remember doing a lot of fetch stuff uh which I didn’t mind doing

[22:30] it was just it seems slow to go where I needed to go and then it’s just the battles to get there and then all the way back and then I’m like ah I don’t I

[22:38] don’t know what was going on at that time it was so long ago but I I just gave up and I had the steelbook version and everything and I remember selling it

[22:45] at a garage sale and I didn’t want to see it go but I I’m never gonna play it again and then I saw the remaster and they added fast forwarding in it that’s

[22:56] you walk it double or quadruple the speed and the battles can take place the same way and like you said that battle system the Gambit system of like

[23:04] pre-programming your members to do certain things that would be lovely that would be amazing just to fast forward some of the damn that would yeah and

[23:12] then the battles weren’t um and it was incredible especially for the time if you think about much like 15 now it’s just like you walk into yeah you see

[23:22] them right you see the enemies and yeah you just get into a fight like there’s no like yeah scene where like it all the world go blurry and you gota like dive

[23:30] into it like just the battle kind of happens or doesn’t right so I like yeah it’s like you said an Impulse you’re like they’ve improved upon my my

[23:39] Nostalgia at that point you’re like I remember it like I liked it but it was just there’s elements I didn’t like and then patching really didn’t happen back

[23:47] then so now they’ve just looked at it remastered it and I’m a sucker for new graphics and a new musical score that would be amazing and then to add those

[23:57] other elements that would help in a dad life that’s great like geez that is a good man that’s a good point because if there ever

[24:05] was especially like you know I’m looking at Final Fantasy 15 that that really seems out of my uh scope of possibility for the next

[24:14] while especially with the new one on the way but man with fast forwarding yeah right okay that see that’s because that’s almost like you get your fix but

[24:23] like you’re gonna be able to accomplish so much in the tiny like 30 minute session you possibly have yeah I think that kind of speed of gameplay would be

[24:31] better like instead of even if they got rid of some of the fetch Quest you’d still be going at the same kind of rate but having it you’re still you still

[24:40] have that full game and you’re just doing it twice as fast four times let’s get it or four times like let’s get it and let’s go and then slow it down for

[24:49] the battles you really need to like strategize about and stuff like that’s fine that’s that’s awesome to me and I think that’s what remasters should be

[24:57] like they should improve a on certain game Mechanics for the modern times because if you kept it age old as it was I don’t think I’d give it a second look

[25:07] it would be the same argument in my mind it’ be like well you know it looks great um but you know those options aren’t there it’s going to be another slow

[25:16] narrative to me at that time and if they didn’t redo the music or even the graphics and they just kind of emulate on the new machine I’m like you don’t

[25:25] really have my money at that point but these new features yeah because I remember with the so we’ve talked before especially with dads

[25:34] and games and games that respect time yeah which just so critical for you and that type of improvement that just seems to look at like look you’ve been here

[25:44] you did this before right you’re clearly just kind of reexperiencing this for most people but well I don’t know if that’s a fair assessment but it’s like

[25:52] for those who would get back into it it’s just like what you’re respecting the fact that they’ve been here before and this like enabling the experience

[25:59] which that’s very interesting yeah man after this after this conversation like I so you on it well a little bit because I was able to

[26:08] get through I mean I kind of right you got through that I kept I ke yeah and I kept holding out for I kind of have kept hoping 12 would come to the phone oh

[26:18] right with the fast forward much it’s a little bit of a big game I don’t know if that one’s quite so possible at least like give it another two years and then

[26:25] phones definitely be able to but uh man that definitely sells it because uh jez I don’t know how much it’s going for I don’t know if they’re

[26:34] doing I thought it was full price I don’t know in Canada 60 I don’t know well I hope it’s not 80 that’s for sure speaking of hold on let’s find that

[26:47] price Google search makes for great radio yeah full price I don’t think would be worth it in my opinion um maybe as a price break you know give it two

[26:58] months and it’ll probably be half which I think it’s where it needs to be yeah that would probably make sense just yeah because you know that they dump

[27:08] resources into it but not enough to Warrant a full full game price I think on I’m seeing steelbook Edition hold on

[27:21] let try to find that’s another thing they have a lot of the uh extra stuff along with it too you’re like pre-order now you get the steelbook you get these

[27:28] little figurines you get the second soundtrack or whatever or the artwork I love I used to love the artwork uh guides you get with them that would be

[27:37] my thing I’ll say this I can’t really I can’t remember any of the characters exactly there some none of them were really the main character they

[27:46] just all kind of had stories yeah I’m probably with you as well I know it took place in the same world as Final Fantasy Tactics uh I or whatever

[27:58] okay yeah so it’s 64 bucks see like that would kind of if it was hold on is this is this us one second oh God that’s Canadian that’s Canadian 64.99 so 65

[28:09] bucks I don’t think I could do that at that price man as and you know with the time because 65 damn that’s that’s sck that’s sad I like I was kind of getting

[28:19] excited like yeah maybe we could $70 oo yeah that’s a lot of formula that’s where that Nostalgia comes in like I don’t think if it’s worth it cuz most of

[28:30] the other games I’ve bought that are rebot is they’ve been decent prices so even Final Fantasy 7 the amount of times I’ve bought that it’s been like 10 15

[28:40] bucks right you’re chopping at the bit to get the next one too I know and like but somehow I can justify it when it’s you know again10 $20 I I think that’s um

[28:52] worth my time to kind of look at granted they rebuilt this thing well man that is 70 65 bucks because the so the one like the one that when we

[29:04] started talking about this topic the one that came to my mind is Skyrim yeah well Skyrim VR and that’s like remember as I do another Google

[29:13] search ridiculous that’s 80 that’s a full price yeah that’s full price not a full price man that is yeah well yeah because the full price of Skyrim when it

[29:23] came out in Canada was again what 54 or whatever we had is a regular now it’s 80 but let’s see I see call I swear so I’m Googling

[29:38] again for all of our listeners but some other remix I was interested in was um the crash bandic 50 50 euros let’s see oh my God it’s like a

[29:48] 100 bucks the euro to Canadian there’s no way no that’s currently $73

[29:58] that’s so somewhere between yeah somewhere between 70 to 80 bucks see that one okay that one for me is going to be

[30:04] harder because I it with the VR set couple things first I never I I first bought Skyrim for like five bucks yeah right so everyone did that even if they

[30:16] had it they just bought it again for five bucks I’ll throw another five but it’s like Definitive Edition this apparently this comes with all the

[30:23] downloads and everything like all the expansions it should if it doesn’t that’s another and I thought of that with

[30:33] NVR that that becomes a much that game that openness that world but the ability to just like be in it seems just like it’s so hard to

[30:47] comprehend how great that could be and especially like I said the taste that I had with Far Point in some degree of like freedom in a world as opposed to

[30:55] just like a literal on rail shooter yeah definitely warmed it up so it’s I wonder how I’d feel if IID paid initially like the 60 80 bucks for

[31:05] Skyrim like back like you know 20 years ago when it first came out long I I’m surprised I didn’t do like a dirt rally kind of idea where you

[31:14] could add the VR on top of the game for an extra 15 bucks like so Skyrim remastered is already out for PS4 right the whatever the new edition or whatever

[31:24] if they had a VR component that would be an easy sell it even 25 bucks wait wait so they have they have Skyrim remastered on PS4 right like or whatever it’s

[31:36] called they called it something different it’s already there how much does that cost currently though I think it’s up there I think it’s

[33:20] the like you it’s an easy answer you’ve bought Final Fantasy 7 like 12 times now yeah well and that being said more recent games I think uh Grand thefts

[33:30] Auto 5 I’ve rebot from PS3 to PS4 just Graphics alone was and and the low times was amazing so I that was a recent one same with last of us so I had that on

[33:43] PS3 and then the remaster came out with 60 frames a second I’m like deal it’s such a good game and it wasn’t it wasn’t full price when it came out um on PSN

[33:53] for PS4 so I think that’s part of it it’s that’s the best part too like yeah it’s certainly hard to like the Final Fantasy one the key

[34:04] like You’ almost convinced me like yeah okay I think because of this fast forward I can I can get a bit of a final fantasy fix in the very super limited

[34:13] time that I have yeah full price okay let’s just like back like I probably literally have the PS2 disc like nearby here yeah I was desperate oh could you

[34:24] imagine like the load times going backward yeah and then maybe that’s part of it too in the PS4 there shouldn’t be any

[34:32] lad times as far as I’m concerned that thing better run butter smooth be super fast if you can you know put it into rest mode instead of you know finding a

[34:40] save point or whatever all the better like that stuff all works for it but $70 in with tax in and I don’t know you get the enjoyment out I’m not saying like

[34:51] you would probably get a good 50 60 hours in it right it’s a dollar an hour not bad I think the dollar an hour think recent example of a REI really was

[35:05] uh so probably one the more embarrassing ones I did was uh Street Fighter right I had it because I had it for computer right just for my PC and

[35:17] then rebot that one for PlayStation as well at the time I was separated from the PC and I kept getting like these itches and I think it went on a bit of a

[35:28] and it’s just like okay that’s like I really want to yeah get back into that so that so that’s something I want on both where man haven’t Jes

[35:37] should keep getting distracted with other things where I haven’t like really got into it I keep I keep seeing all these like news like Evo coming up yeah

[35:44] so they’re really huge fighting tournament right and like man it’s just like it gets that they get those like those itches kind of going like oh like

[35:52] I should like die back into that and just get beaten all the time the Les I think the thing is said neither

[36:01] you and I aren’t in the Nintendo ecosystem you’d have to almost imagine like that that that world especially is super big on reys like I I I would love

[36:12] to be in it it’s just the point of entry when you’ve kind of decided a console I can’t justify another one at that kind of price another whole console

[36:24] yeah especially when you’re eyeing up the VR set

[36:31] exactly Wonder like how many times like breath of the wild like not breath of wild the uh the Zelda games like amazing the Mario game coming out would be

[36:40] amazing I loveart Mario 64 which you could buy you know on um any the eshops you could buy for the 3DS you can yeah and the

[36:51] old so I’ll add that to the Reby I bought that on the Wii because I bought a Wii at garage sale so I bought that on the uh eShop

[37:01] so I was thinking about the I was thinking about the Wii the other day like what it’s like to it’s a whole whole series of like Nintendo games I

[37:09] skipped because I missed it or or just you know yes I’m figuring I could probably pick up a Wii for like 30 bucks yeah they uh I got a pretty good deal

[37:19] because there um it was It was kind of I don’t want to say drug deal but okay great start shut up to uh an online ad they had a Wei for sale

[37:30] it had a bunch of control it had two controllers with it it had a Pro Controller which you need for Super Mario 64 so it’s like the old school

[37:36] kind of Xbox thing it had um a couple games with it and it was like the blue Wii so I was like oh that’s kind of neat so was oh for like 70 bucks so I’m like

[37:45] oh if I spent that like individually that’s way more so deal run over to this guy’s house I rang on his doorbell he’s like meet me at the garage so it’s his

[37:55] dad it’s his dad that wants to get rid of his kid’s we and he doesn’t want him to know whatever the kid did I don’t know how old the kid was dude you like

[38:05] it best like a man just like so what goes through your head like you’re dad I’m there to buy the Wii maybe he was pun maybe he’s in

[38:13] college maybe he the same age as me and he just wants to get rid of his stuff I don’t know but he had it in the trunk of his van and he opened up the van and had

[38:21] it in a bag like it was a plastic WRA bag so he had already taken it out of the house he had gone through the effort to take it out bag it up with it it’s

[38:30] like enabling like this this like Dad move as far as totally yeah you don’t finish your dishes well the darn Wei is getting sold we’ll all be there one day

[38:47] where it’s like selling my jerk kids PS4 because he got like bad grades any off you want I don’t care you have to get and just this is awful like Diet tribe

[38:58] basically against the kid as they’re selling off the PS4 yeah crying in the background like oh poor guy but I highly recommend

[39:07] picking one up I’m not it’s it’s a cheap thing your kid can play with it soon really they’re these things are bulletproof Nintendo knows how to make a

[39:17] a console those Wii controllers have been stepped on whipped dropped whatever and a whole new season of Reby finally three I think I bought that one tooo on

[39:42] immediately like I soon did you get it just like well now I’m goingon to Reby it all yeah all Nintendo is all reys all the time just because they’re games yeah

[39:57] what a TI like per episod SNES mini the ultimate Reby yeah really probably those 20 games I owned at some point those are all rebis well
