[0:28] so moss is a fantastic game like it it is such a showpiece for the system and I think like where could go like if at any point you had played robot rescue as

[0:46] part of the psvr playroom that Sonny gave ya and you thought you saw what this is there’s something here like this is really interesting to partake in this

[0:57] it’s like that but times a thousand because so you play a tiny mouse you are introduced as a believe is called whisperer which is so you’re in the

[1:10] world and then the players interact and speak to you both in story and the mouse and as he sees you you’re controlling a Khalil Mouse character like it it’s

[1:20] really stunning how you sit into the world right so you can very much imagine like somebody has set up a diorama or a train set around you and you were just

[1:31] you’ve been placed within it and then you have this little action figure and you were just jumping them within it so you’re stationary in these scenes and it

[1:40] goes scene by scene by scene which to kind of keep within the narrative when you first arrive you’re in this big libraries with a huge book in front of

[1:49] you he open it and all the stories told to pages when you go from scene to scene you can hear there’s a very tiny subtle page turn oh yeah that’s a neat detail

[2:00] right like you’re walking through that that little detail is reminiscent of how they’ve seen this entire game that is how they’ve approached this entire game

[2:09] with a type of beautiful attention to tiny details that make it amazing so yeah so you’re sitting you are stationary these scenes are introduced

[2:17] to you one by one like two pages in a book and you’re controlling your little mouse guy so you you’re controlling with a stick attack bonus jump button you’re

[2:26] looking around the world as the Whisperer in the world you can grab objects to a system house so in order to get with this other ledge I have to grab

[2:36] this big block and pull it out I have to grab this wheel and I have to turn it around I have to you can actually take control of some enemies and lead them on

[2:46] twos let’s say a button that needs to be remained pressed hmm so in addition to moving around your little mouse character you’re also

[2:55] interacting with this world real-time and sometimes at the same time there’s this water room where there’s these three enemies attacking and you’re

[3:03] controlling him at the same time you’re with your controller you’re grabbing one of the columns as he’s on it you’re actively dodging with your thumb

[3:10] stick you had you’re limiting this column it’s a bit more like if I think I will be uploading a number of clips of it and as you can see like I fail a

[3:19] bunch like it did not go what what yes you are you are there you’re in it this scene is presented to you it’s gorgeous and not only that like you when you’re

[3:32] collecting Scrolls are trying to figure out where he’s supposed to go the world is detailed and inviting enough and it fuels real enough that you kind of

[3:41] you’re standing up and you’re looking over things like you’re peeking around ledges you’re trying to get a different angle on items no more than once like we

[3:50] would get into a new scene and I would stop the game what’s so entirely and I’m just looking around you know like oh yeah like I’m looking up like I’m

[3:59] looking at the scenery all above at one point Moss the quill is actually sort of the name of the mouse quill is running around and this deer which I hadn’t

[4:09] really noticed cuz I kind of looked a bit like a tree in the background lifts up its head he’s right there no massive in compared to the rest there’s like

[4:16] this oh I kind of breath taken away movement huh so so all of that might be interesting enough so they’ve sound designed gorgeous

[4:26] you’re in a forest they you’re just there visually visual design beautiful like it’s a vibrant world it’s a cute world it’s the graphics are very

[4:37] incredible like I think it’s very clever this scene idea that they come up with just to deal with some of the limitations of the hardware so they have

[4:45] to render one scene gameplay feels great Paul that is excellent I think the thing that ties it the most together is that you care about this Mouse like yeah

[4:58] right alright yeah you want to see him survive because he is interacting with you like we’ve mentioned on a previous show like where he if you can’t figure

[5:09] out the puzzle he will look at you and squeak a little bit if you’re to end it and then point out some of the things you’re supposed to do and he’s you know

[5:17] he’ll like okay so first you grab that and then he spins in a circle to indicate you’re supposed to rotate it and goes everything else at the end of

[5:25] one of the puzzle he sat there with his hand reached out to the screen he wanted a high-five okay that’s cool it’s any ma’am you give the high-five

[5:34] when he’s injured you actually take your so your controller is represented by this ball of light so that’s kinda know where you’re kind of aiming at the

[5:45] moment you take that and you hold it over him like you resuscitate him okay yeah you are very active in his taking care of him and even still look even

[5:57] between you can kind of you can latch on to him kind of pet him in between so like that’s he’s very much a Pixar character like this is not a stock

[6:08] standard like here’s a here’s a mouse character make up jump like it’s right right it is this like fleshed out animated character that with the motions

[6:18] that are put into it it conveys emotion desires like information like it’s if nothing else like I think that’s the real threat of the entirety is that you

[6:28] care about the damn thing so as you’re running them around like you don’t want them to get because I that’s my most buddy yeah it’s

[6:36] my little friend in there be sad for me mention like that the voice-over work is fantastic yeah there’s the one woman who’s doing the narration so she takes

[6:45] on all the different character voices and not and subtly like an audiobook which is done just beautifully so the story is very good much more involved

[6:54] than I expected honestly cuz a big huge arcing story gameplays fantastic looks beautiful and damn it man you care about that Mouse

[7:03] this is the I would implore anybody who had played the demo and thought it was great or anybody who’s played a robot rescue and kind of got that just said

[7:13] this is something like this is it this is legitimate this game is utterly fantastic I I highly recommend it for psvr owners
